Wa. Woke up late this morning and rushed off to training without taking a shower. Reached macritchie at 6.50 and got barred from doing the sprint programme for being 5 minutes late. Walaooooo. John and I did a 1k race set in our k2 instead. Coach said our first 300m was 'incredibly fast' and comparable to the World Champs senior men k2s, but after that we died really bad haha. Like slowwwwwww. But he said our 500m burst and last 200m burst was quite good, so I guess we did quite good la. Yay.

Malaysia was not fantastically comfortable. Haha 8 hour bus rides there and back were quite pointless, I think I was asleep nearly all the time hehe. River rafting was awesome fun stuff, and our river guide was pro yeah. We take shortcuts through the rapids :D Wandering through the cave was quite miserable, especially the low ceiling parts where we had to commando crawl through muddy water. Waterfall abseiling the next day was awesome stuff too, but mega dangerous la lol. Which brings us to the highlight of the Primers' Challenge - the 3 hour plus trek through the leech- and mosquito- infested forests in search of the rafflesia flower. It was super high up in the steep hill and it rained, making the ground all muddy and slippery. So we risked our lives to have 5 minutes with the elusive rafflesia flower. And leeches suck balls. Literally.

Haha the resort was quite good though. Open-air and all, but it was rather cooling at night. Showers weren't too bad, save for the brown water whenever it rained and sand got washed into the natural water supply. And the food there was SPECTACULAR. Awesome stuff we've got there :D

And now, the sharity gift box duties call. Looks like I'm in for much pain and agony tomorrow :/
