So often we complain, we rant, we say stuff is unfair. We do stuff for others, and we expect stuff to be done for us - maybe about an equal amount, that should be enough.

I'm not a person really concerned about gifts or service, but more of time and intimacy. And intention. I don't think I should be affected by it, but it's a special circle of people. A special circle of people that made me feel special. Distinct.

Distinctly left out.

Seriously, the only one out of four? I may say it jokingly - I may say it like I'm not bothered at all. But believe me when I say I'm bothered a whole great deal. Like, a lot.

Give without expecting return. But not even a little bit?
